Racism Awareness Program

@ St. Luke, East Hampton

This session of the Racism Awareness Program of the Dicoese of Long Island will take place at Saint Luke Parish, 18 James Lane in East Hampton.  We are grateful to Saint Luke's for serving as host.

Awareness of racism and response to it in our individual lives and in our communities remains as crucial as ever to the health of both Church and society. This workshop will be one day in length. Participants will be led from an awareness of discrimination to an understanding of racism and other forms of oppression on the personal, interpersonal, institutional and systemic levels.

A $20 fee will be assessed for the provision of lunch and materials. Register below.

Call the Mercer Office with any remaining questions: 516.248.4800, extension 140.

Please share the news of this upcoming workshop. All are welcome.

Note the requirement for this training according to the canons of the Diocese of Long Island, Canon 4, Section III -
