12 Step • Quiet Day for Lent
A Journey of Hope & Healing
Led by Bishop Chilton Knudsen, Assistant Bishop of Long Island
The season of Lent asks us to awkwardly wait and prepare. That’s because Lent, for centuries, has been a time to stop and take stock of our lives, and a place for both recovery and renewal. Discover how, for today, it can be a time for letting go of what no longer works and a life-giving “reset” button.
Join us to explore the meaning of Lent for 12 Steppers. No matter which step you’re on, or what program you’re in, or how long you’ve been in program, join us for a quiet day that will deepen your experience with silence, guided meditation, reflection and prayer – practices that our 12 step tradition tells us are essential to living courageously, one day at a time.
