Community Day Events for Salvation Army
The HCC Foundation is recruiting Bell Ringers for the 2017 holiday season. Sign up to ring the bell at a Salvation Army Red Kettle this Christmas and you’ll help raise the critical funds they need to make their life-transforming programs and services possible for those neighbors who need us most. HCC Members who participate are saving the Salvation Army approximately $100 per 8 hour shift by providing volunteers in lieu of paid staff. What a wonderful way to give back!
The location for this year's HCC Foundation Bell Ringers will be at the Galleria Mall where volunteers will have a great time spreading holiday cheer.
We need 4 volunteers for each of these days and shifts:
- Friday, Dec. 8 from 11am - 3pm
- Friday, Dec. 8 from 3pm - 7pm
- Saturday, Dec. 9 from 11am - 3pm
- Saturday, Dec. 9 from 3pm - 7pm
Volunteers should arrive 15 minutes prior to their shift starting to ensure an easy change over between volunteers.
Please only sign up to participate if you are 100% certain you can volunteer on that date/time as filling these spots last minute is extremely difficult.
If you wish to volunteer, but can't fill the entire shift requirement, please reach out to Damon at DHunter@HendersonChamber.com and he will be happy to find a spot for you!
