Concerned about your financial future?

Free seminar will put you on the right path.

The MMA Resident and Fellow Section invites you and your spouse/guest to a free two-hour seminar "Financial Planning and Debt strategies for Young Physicians" on Wednesday, May 8, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the MMA offices, 1300 Godward St. N.E., Minneapolis.

The seminar will help young physicians understand how to reign in student loan debt and begin a disciplined financial planning program for a successful future. Topics covered will include:

  • What are the two most important steps you can take right now to manage your student loan debt?
  • Did you know that student loan interest may not be deductible after residency?
  • How to successfully keep track of your budget and finances?

Attendees at this hands-on seminar will receive practical strategies and access to resources to help make their upcoming financial journey successful. The seminar leaders, David Denniston, CFA, and Roger Anderson, CFP, have worked with physicians for more than 20 years. They know and understand the unique challenges you will be facing and how to build a plan for the future.

A light dinner will be offered at 5:30 p.m.

The program is sponsored by David Denniston, CFA, and Roger Anderson, CFP.
