Join LPAPA Signature Artist Clark Mitchell for a fun and informative Mentor Paint Out at Stafford Lake County Park.  There are many easily accessible and highly paintable areas and a beautiful landscape of tawny and golden summer colors. Clark will be doing a painting demo using soft pastel on sanded paper; he will create a plein air landscape from sketch to (near) finished painting. Clark will discuss the importance of values and color temperature in creating a vibrant landscape.  Come for the demo and stay to paint along side fellow outdoor painters!  All painting mediums welcome. Bring a sack lunch/snack and stay for Clark's critique at noon, optional for anyone who wishes to participate.

Picnic tables and bathrooms with running water near by.  Parking Fee is $10.00 for the Park's day-use.  Meet in the parking lot to left, above the lake.

This is a free event (other than the parking fee). We are requesting rsvp/registration so that we can let Clark know to expect you!
