ChildFirst™ Forensic Interview Protocol Update Training - Roanoke

Are you a ChildFirst™/Finding Words graduate prior to July, 2014?

This training course is designed for successful graduates of ChildFirst™ Virginia/Finding Words™ between 2006 and March, 2014 who seek to remain current in their practice. Building on existing knowledge and experience, the course provides updates and revisions utilizing best practices as defined by research and practical experience.

The One-Day Protocol Update is best suited for Multidisciplinary professionals who want to stay up-to-date on the most current forensic interview best practices (curriculum is revised annually) and/or want a “refresher” to keep their skills up.

Upon completion of the One-Day Protocol Update training, participants will:
  • Appreciate the evolution of the ChildFirst™ Forensic Interview Protocol as a forensically sound and child-centered approach to conducting a forensic interview.
  • Become familiar with a model which utilizes best practice and research to employ purposes, considerations and techniques for training those investigating allegations of all forms of child maltreatment.

Registration Fee:  $100 - lunch provided
