6th Annual Multidisciplinary Child Abuse Conference 

This training is for all multidisciplinary professionals working with child and family maltreatment and involved in the investigation, prosecution, evaluation, medical or mental health treatment capacity as well as local, state and federal officials and lawmakers committed to developing collaborative partnerships which have proven so successful.

Featured Speakers

Jim Holler, Retired Chief of Police in Liberty Township, PA will be our Keynote Speaker starting the     conference with Super Hero RECHARGE—Fine Tuning the Multidisciplinary Team!  Jim will finish out the day with “The Internet-A Molester’s Paradise” (cyberbullying, child porn & sexting)

Charlie Appelstein, MSW, - passionate, humorous, and informative!  Charlie will provide a full day on One More Day Please, The Art of Taking Care of #1, and No Such Thing As a Bad Kid—Understanding & Responding to At-Risk Children & Youth Using Trauma Informed, Strength-Based Theories & Techniques. 

Kevin Mulcany is Assistant U.S. Attorney & Chief of the General Crimes Unit Detroit, MI.  As a victim of sexual exploitation, and as a long-time prosecutor of child exploitation cases, Kevin will share valuable lessons in hope that attendees will more thoroughly understand the impact of child sexual abuse on victims, as well as be challenged by the awesome responsibilities associated with working these cases.  His presentation, Randy and Me will be our closing Keynote.
