Helping Kids Tame Their Dragons!
Do kids in your class act like storybook dragons – harmless and enchanting one moment, but out of control the next? Most children do. Some angry kids vent their anger in fiery tantrums and foot stomping rages, while others use pouting, hostile silences, sarcasm and fights with friends as vents. This workshop based on the newest brain-based approaches will help teachers zero in on the sources of anger, and to anticipate, defuse and coach the situations that can awaken it. From toddlers to teens, this workshop will help teachers develop a long-term plan for anger management in their classroom, and in their school curriculum to build sequential skills in children.
