Dr. Meena Kumari, Associate Professor, Anatomy and Physiology, College of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University will present.
The research efforts of her laboratory are directed toward understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying alterations in gene expression in the brain following chronic alcohol exposure.

What is the VetMed Lecture Series?
K-State has six Career and Cases in Veterinary Medicine Lectures scheduled this semester (Fall 2015). These lectures provide a rare opportunity for K-12 students, teachers and community members to learn about cases in Veterinary Medicine through our K-State experts.
A verification slip will be issued upon the conclusion of the lecture to confirm your participation for which your teacher may award credit points for attending the lecture.
