FLRSMN Aquatic Insect & Invasive Species ID Workshop 

This hands-on workshop will build your aquatic insect and invasive species identification skills for the Finger Lakes Regional Stream Monitoring Network program! Participants will work in the classroom to identify collected specimens using microscopes, field guides and other ID resources. Educators receive 2.5 hours of CTLE credits and free identification guides for both aquatic insects and invasive species.

Itinerary:

4:00 pm Welcome and Introductions

4:15-5:15 pm  Aquatic Insect ID

5:15-6:15 pm  Invasive Species ID

6:15-6:30 pm  FLRSMN Database
