   Project Aquatic WILD

Project WET (Watershed Education for Teachers) 2.0

Join FLI Education Program Manager, Nadia Harvieux, and Delta Environmental Program Manager, Kaeti Stoss, for an introduction to hands-on, water-related activities that are easily incorporated into your existing K-12 STEM curricula. This training is free and open to classroom & homeschool teachers, outreach educators, summer camp instructors and afterschool providers.

Project Aquatic WILD & Project WET (Water Education for Teachers) 2.0 are a collection of innovative, water-related activities, lessons, games and field investigations that are hands-on, easy to use and fun! Project Aquatic WILD focuses on aquatic habitats, the animals that live there, ecology, pollution, and impact of invasive species. Project WET 2.0 focuses on the physical properties of water, water quality impacts, and peoples' relationship to water throughout their lives.

Participants will receive the award-winning, NSTA-recommended Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide 2.0, Aquatic WILD K-12 Curriculum & Activity Guide and 7 hours of CTLE professional development. Correlated to the Common Core Standards, Next Generation Science Standards, and STEM Educational Coalition objectives, the curriculum & activity guides gives K-12 educators accessible tools to integrate water education into every school subject.
