Join aquatic biologist, Pete Lent, for an informative, hands-on identification training to further your aquatic macroinvertebrate identification skills. This workshop will largely rely upon microscope work to identify insects collected from local streams. As part of the training, participants will also learn about the life history of aquatic insects, role of these insects in freshwater aquatic ecosystems, and insect structure, morphology and adaptations.
