This Year's 2017 Inductees are:

James P. Nolan

James P Nolan James P. Nolan is a Director of Council, Baradel, Kosmerl & Nolan, P.A. He previously served as Managing Director of the firm from 1987-2015. In addition to Mr. Nolan’s extensive litigation and business experience, he has been a leader in many bar, civic and business organizations.  He currently serves as a Delegate in the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association. He is a member and Immediate Past Chair of the Board of the University of Baltimore Foundation and Board of Visitors and a member and Vice Chair of the Board of the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County. He is a Past President of the National Conference of Bar Presidents, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Anne Arundel County Bar Association, the Anne Arundel County Bar Foundation and the Maryland Institute for the Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers.  He is Past Chair of the Board of Severn School, a Past Co-Chair of the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce, a past Chair of the Board of the Historic Annapolis Foundation and a former member of the Boards of the Annapolis Banking and Trust Company, the Annapolis Advisory Board of PNC Bank, the Annapolis Community Foundation and the Maryland Bar Foundation.

Veronica Tovey

Veronica Tovey Veronica Tovey is President & Publisher of What's Up? Media, the largest magazine publishing company in Anne Arundel County. The Mission Statement of What's Up? Media is to benefit it's local communities. Through our 501,c3, What's Up? Foundation, we average cash donations of $40,000 each year to Local charities. In kind donations average $150,000 -$200,000 annually.

Christopher B. Nelson

Christopher Nelson Christopher B. Nelson has been president of St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland, since June 1991Nelson is a national spokesperson for the liberal arts, participating actively in the national conversation about higher education. Frequently a panelist and speaker on state, regional, and national programs, he has addressed issues of institutional autonomy in the face of government regulatory intrusion and changes proposed in the accrediting system. His current focus is making clear the value of liberal education in providing excellent grounding for career and professional development and, most importantly, for an open-minded pursuit of lifelong learning. 

Maurice B. Tose

Maurice Tose Maurice B. Tosé founded TeleCommunication Systems (TCS) in 1987. Prior to founding TCS, Mr. Tosé was the Director of Department of Defense Programs for Techmatics, Inc. Mr. Tosé graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in operations analysis and holds an Honorary Doctor of Sciences from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Following his graduation, he served on active duty in the United States Navy for eight years, three and a half of which were as an instructor at the U.S. Naval Academy. He retired from the Navy Reserve as a commander after 30 years of combined active and reserve service. Mr. Tosé serves on the board of directors of the U.S. Naval Academy Foundation.
