Daniel GriswoldMain Street America and Globalization - Small Business Access to the International Marketplace

Our second speaker for the morning is Daniel Griswold, who will share with us the importance of small business access to the international marketplace, and how small businesses can and should engage in this important area of commerce. The 2016 Economic Forum will address:

  • The influences (positive, neutral and negative on business and the workforce) of our country choosing between the two U.S. presidential contenders in our upcoming national election , and a divided Congress in what appears to be a continued hyper-partisan environment that may extend beyond normal election year politics.
  • How our American businesses, workforce, citizens, and culture might react and adapt to changes in technology, health care, and apparent economic disparity causing social unrest between “haves and have nots”.
  • The continuing impact of globalization (or a retreat from it) on our national and regional economies in the United States, including the impact of actions of the Federal Reserve and other central banks to stabilize and grow national economies.
