CT School Environmental Laws Roundtable Discussion
and
Membership Meeting

Busy facility staff are charged with keeping our schools afloat, managing the day to day tasks, AND complying with the state laws. From green cleaners, pesticide regulations and notifications, to Indoor Air Quality issues and prevention, to the “What’s In/What’s Out” of recycling, there are many new changes that you might not be aware of. What needs to be done? What needs to be posted online? Who needs to be notified? What’s a busy manager to do???

Come to hear about the new changes in recycling, the requirements for building inspections, and discuss the supports available to you from CT Green LEAF Schools. Together we can work this all out!

Panelists for the discussion are:

• Kenny Foscue, CT State Department of Public Health (Indoor Environmental Quality and the Tools for Schools program)
• Sherill Baldwin, CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (the new recycling initiatives and oversight of school compliance)
• Laurel Kohl, Institute for Sustainable Energy at Eastern Connecticut State University, CT Green LEAF Schools ( supports for districts for environmental laws compliance)

There is a $30 registration fee for all non-members.  An invoice will be sent.  CSBGA accepts MasterCard, VISA and American Express.
