Annual Asbestos Program

CSBGA, in partnership with Mystic Air Quality Consultants, is offering the Annual Asbestos Program.  This program is for Asbestos Designated Persons and Accredited Asbestos Inspectors.

The morning session will cover three modules and an exam:

• "Prevention: Understanding the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act" and a review of the LEA Designed Person responsibilities.
• "Danger Asbestos: Failing the Grade" which is a review of Senator's Markey and Boxer's report on AHERA Compliance which includes the reply from the State of CT DPH.
• CT DPH's New 3 Year Reinspection Form.
  

The afternoon session will cover 2 modules plus an exam. Designated persons are invited and encouraged to attend this session. The Accredited Management Planners are required to attend the afternoon session.

• "Lessons Learned from AHERA: Asbestos Management in Schools.
  
• A Guide to AHERA Compliance.

Appropriate attendance and Refresher Certificate will be given to all who attend whether for the half day or the full day program.

A complimentary registration fee for this educational program, like all others, is one of the many benefits of being a CSBGA member. A contential breakfast and lunch will be available. This course alone is worth the cost of your annual membership dues. Non-members will be charged $400 for the full program or $190 for the morning session.  An invoice will be sent and credit for the program will not be given until payment is made in full. CSBGA accepts MasterCard, VISA and American Express.
