Megan Hayes workshop for actors who want to learn industry ins & outs in ATL vs LA

SATURDAY, April 30, 2016.  1:30-3:30pm

Creative Studios of Atlanta welcomes Atlanta native/current LA resident & working actor Megan Hayes home for a visit.  Megan has known she was destined to be an actor since she was a small child & has been a working actor most of her life.  She is best known for her film role as The Morphling, the tribute from District 6 in The Hunger Games.  Before moving to LA, Megan taught Acting 101 & 201 for us at CSA.  

Megan is currently working at the Horizon Theatre in the role of Olivia in Sex with Strangers, and will be returning to her LA home in May.

Megan's workshop will explore the differnces of being a local Atlanta actor vs being an LA actor; for film, television & stage.  Learn the differences, the similarities and all the in-betweens.  Learn what distinguishes each market, how to navigate each part of the country, and attain the knowledge to help you overlap the two.  Discover the advantages of working both markets and the realities of working both in LA and ATL.
  • The workshop will be open to Q&A.  
  • Registrants will be able to submit questions in advance if they wish.

This workshop is a learning experience.  It is not an audition or employement opportunity.  Your investment for this 2-hour educational opportunity is $100.00.  This session is for actors of all ages.  Actors who are ages 17 & less may be accompanied by 1 parent/adult legal guardian.
