The Al Forthan Scholarship and JOIN present Relationship Based Services Training with Angie Hernandez, Cristina Castaņo Henao, and Quinn Colling

Please join us for the upcoming training, Relationship Based Services Training with Angie Hernandez, Cristina Castaņo Henao, and Quinn Colling on Wednesday, April 15th from 8:30am-4:30pm (registration starts at 8:00). The training cost is $110 - Includes 6 CEUs from MHACBO. All proceeds go towards the VOA Al Forthan Scholarship to support students who come from families impacted by addiction.

Purpose

JOIN’s Relationship Based Services training will provide an overview of their outreach, housing placement, and retention models that are rooted in racial equity.  The trainers will use a combination of learning modalities including presentation, discussion, and experiential learning to highlight the key principles and practices that are at the heart of JOIN’s approach to outreach and retention.

Angie Hernandez Retention Coordinator

Angie has been involved in social work for 5 years. She's been at JOIN for 2 years as a Retention worker and coordinator. Her favorite part about the work is building community

Cristina Castaņo Henao MPSH Coordinator

Cristina has been involved in social for over 10 years in Colombia and Portland.  She has been the Mobile Permanent Supportive Housing coordinator for 2 years. 

Quinn Colling Outreach Coordinator

Quinn has been at JOIN since 2006.  He was an Outreach Worker on the West-side of Portland for 10 years, and currently coordinates an eight person outreach team.
