Please Join Us for the Next Al Forthan Training on May, 10th with Shahana Koslofsky PhD on Culturally Informed Care with the Latino Community

This training is designed to prepare participants to provide culturally informed care to the immigrant Latino community. Topics addressed will include immigrations, acculturation, trauma, strategies for working with undocumented individuals, and clinical cultural adaptations for Latina/o immigrants. Participants will leave this training with an increased ability to integrate culturally relevant strategies into their clinical work and enhance treatment effectiveness when working with Latina/o community members.
Cost: $60 ($30 for students) You will be provided 3 ACCBO CEU's.
All money raised from this training will go to support the Al Forthan Memorial Scholarship.
Shahana Koslofsky, PhD
Dr. Koslofsky is a bilingual (English/Spanish) psychologist with an independent practice in Beaverton and a faculty position in the School of Graduate Psychology at Pacific University. Dr. Koslofsky has maintained an independent practice since 2005 and has been working with the immigrant Latino community in California and Oregon for all of that time. In her university position, Dr. Koslofsky is an assistant professor and associate director of Sabidurķa: the Latino psychology emphasis of the School of Graduate Psychology at Pacific University. Dr. Koslofsky has delivered national presentations and published articles on Latino Psychology, diversity, and interprofessional education. She is currently President of the Oregon Psychological Association.
