Each year, Serve DC’s Annual Conference convenes individuals and organizations from across the city who are committed to community improvement and empowerment through service. Serve DC invites you to join them on Wednesday, May 9th, for their 2012 conference "Sustaining a Community of Service," a dynamic and substantive day of programming and networking designed to give participants the tools, resources and support necessary to strengthen and expand organizational and individual capacity to meet community needs through service.

Robert EggerRobert Egger, Founder and President of DC Central Kitchen and CForward, is the featured keynote speaker, and renowned experts from local and national service-based organizations, including the Center for Nonprofit Advancement, City Year Washington, DC, DC Office of Disability Rights, DC Public Schools Office of Family & Public Engagement, Girl Scouts of the Nations Capital, HandsOn Greater DC Cares,  Higher Achievement, IONA Senior Services, and the Latin American Youth Center, will be on hand to provide valuable insight and best practices through interactive, informative workshops and roundtable discussions.
