MANRRS 2017 Region I Cluster Meeting

The MANRRS Regional Cluster workshop is a professional and career development summit featuring some of the top agricultural and natural resources entities from academia, industry, and government. This event will feature students from across Region I looking to network with professionals, secure summer internships, and develop professional skills.

This year’s Cluster will be hosted at the National 4-H Conference Center in Chevy Chase, Maryland Friday, October 27- Saturday, October 28, 2017. The registration fee will be $35.00 for students, $50.00 for professionals, and $250 for exhibitors (non-sponsors). The theme for our 33rd year is “MANRRS: Preparing Our Future, Empowering Our Present and Honoring Our Past" .  In order to take advantage of the valuable opportunities that will be available, we need the support, attendance, and participation from each of our members. We look forward to seeing you next month!

Bayer Crop Science, Land O'Lakes, Monsanto, US Forest Service, USDA APHIS Animal Care, USDA APHIS, Veterinary Services, USDA ARS and USDA NRCS.

Late registrants will incur a late fee with a price increased to $45 per student/alumni, $60 per professional member, $275 exhibitors (non-sponsors), and $60 after Friday, October 20, 2017.

Room Rate - $119/night plus 6% tax

GUEST ROOM RESERVATION METHOD:   Reservations must be booked on an individual basis by 09/05/2017.  All reservation requests received after this date will be subject to availability.  Once an individual reservation has been made, any changes should be made directly with National 4-H Center's front desk manager. Reservations may be made by by calling (301) 961-2801 and referencing MANRRS group rate ($119/night plus 6% tax). Additionally, a valid credit card will be required at check in and an authorization will be placed on their card for incidentals. Cancellations must be received 72 hours prior to arrival. 

Guest Room Guarantee:  Individuals pay own and guarantee rooms with a credit card. All charges can be paid by credit card; the hotel accepts American Express, Diners Club, Master Card or Visa.  If direct billing has not been approved for your function, you will provide us with the alternate payment for all estimated master account charges, no later than thirty (30) days prior to the contracted event date.

Cut Off Date:  All reservations must be made with the hotel by 09/05/2017.

Check-In/Out Time:  Our check-in time is after 3:00PM check-out time is 11:00AM.  All guests arriving before this time will be accommodated as rooms become available.
