About Nancy Graham:

Nancy Graham’s focus on advocating for students who face challenges in classrooms has evolved during the 38 years she has worked in public schools in New Jersey, Maryland and West Virginia.  Nancy earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in speech-language pathology from West Virginia University.  She has continued her training throughout her career and has earned certifications as a special education teacher, learning disabilities teacher-consultant and Wilson Language Trainer.  Nancy has consulted or worked in over 20 school districts in Southern New Jersey in elementary, middle and high school settings.  She is currently employed as the In-district Wilson Language Trainer for Monroe Twp. School District where she provides workshops and ongoing support for teachers who provide explicit, multisensory phonics instruction through the implementation of Fundations, Just Words and Wilson Reading Programs.

About Deborah Lynam:

Deborah Lynam is the director of Parent Community Engagement at Learning Ally.  She previously worked as a Family Resource Specialist and Trainer for NJ’s Parent Training & Information Center, SPAN, and currently serves on NJ's State Special Education Advisory Council. Deborah is the parent of three children, two of whom are dyslexic and is a founding member of Decoding Dyslexia–NJ. She is also a volunteer tutor for The Reading Assist Institute providing multisensory structured language interventions to students in a southern NJ school district.  From these many different perspectives, Deborah understands the issues facing families and schools relating to dyslexia and has a passion to connect and assist them in finding the resources and information they need to support students who learn differently.
