WJRC presents Gearing Up for the Common Core

Please Register for this FREE EVENT TO THE PUBLIC (*You do not need to be a current member, but you do need to register for a head count).
- Please join us on February 12th from 4:30-6:00pm at the Bobby's Run School in Lumberton for this informative presentation on a topic relevant to all current teachers.
- Topics will include an overview about how to transition to the new Common Core State Standards (applies to all grade levels K-12) and preparing for the new PARCC assessments.
- Covers both Math and LA.
*Check in starting at 4pm (light refreshments will be provided)

About the presenter:
- Dr. Tracey Severns is currently the Chief Academic Officer at the NJ DOE, after more than 25 years of experience as a superintendent, principal, and teacher in NJ. She was also awarded the National Distinguished Principal of the Year Award for 2011 for her work in Mt. Olive. Her presentations have received rave reviews.
