The Couples League at
Chestnut Hill Country Club

• Day and Time

The Couples League plays on Wednesdays starting at approximately 5:15pm. It is open to players of all abilities. The league begins May 17 and runs for 12 weeks.  

• Format

Each couple plays as a team in scramble format.  That means each couple hits a shot and then one person moves their ball to the location of the best shot.  This is done all the way until each team holes out.  At least one shot on each hole must be that of the female player.  That score is then recorded. 

Scoring will be done using 80 percent of your score.  This will allow couples to miss up to three nights without being eliminated from the chances of winning and receiving prizes. 

Each week Couples will play a different 9 holes and turn in a score.

Chestnut Hill will post the standings on its website.

You may join as a twosome or as foursome if you have friends with whom you want to play.  You will play with that group throughout the summer.

At the conclusion of your round each week, you may continue to play golf with no additional charge for greens fees or carts until dark, subject to other leagues going out.

• Fees

The cost is 28 per couple per week. The first payment of 28 is due at registration as your downpayment and will be applied to your final week's play.

Price includes use of a golf cart

Payments are due each week prior to heading onto the course. In this way, if you are unable to play any particular week(s), you will not forfeit any fees.  

• Contests

Each week there will be an optional closest to the pin contest as well as a skins game for those seeking a little extra competition.  O

There will be cocktail party at the conclusion of league play to award prizes.
