The Wednesday Night League at Chestnut Hill 

• Day and Time

The Wednesday Evening League plays on Wednesdays starting at approximately 4:00pm and goes until 5:30pm.  It is open to players of all abilities.   The league begins April 29 and runs for 16 weeks.  

• Format

The format is individual stroke play meaning that everyone plays their own ball from tee to green.  Chestnut Hill will provide a handicap to even the playing field at no extra charge.  We will use a Stableford point system for scoring.  Points will be awarded on a net basis. 

Scoring will be done using 80 percent of your score.  This will allow you to miss up to three nights without being eliminated from the chance of winning and receiving prizes.

Each week you will play a different 9 holes and turn in a score.  Scores and standings will be posted on our website.

Men will play in a men’s division and women in a women’s division. 

You may join as a foursome, threesome, twosome or individual.  If your group is less than a foursome, we will pair you with others of similar ability.  You will play with that group throughout the summer.

At the conclusion of your round each week, you may continue to play golf with no additional charge for greens fees or carts until dark, subject to other leagues going out. 

• Fees

The cost is 20 per person per week.  The first payment of 20 is due at registration as your downpayment and will be applied to your final week's play.  

Payments are due each week as you go out to play.  In this way, if you are unable to play any particular week(s), you will not forfeit any fees.      

Prices include use of a brand new 2015 EZ-Go golf cart

• Contests

Each week there will be an optional closest to the pin contest as well as a skins game for those seeking a little extra competition.  Prizes will be awarded weekly. 

Other contests will be announced throughout the season.

There will be a complimentary banquet at the end of the season
during which prizes will be awarded.
