What:
This five-hour webinar course is Part 2A of the certification course which prepares certified yoga and meditation teachers to work in military communities with active duty servicemembers, veterans, family members, professional caregivers, and civilian staff. This will prepare you for the Part 2B course if you are a yoga teacher and the Part 3 course if you are doing the meditation certification track.
There is increasing evidence for meditation to be an effective adjunctive treatment in regulating the Autonomic Nervous System, making practititioners more resilitent
AND helping them heal from the effects of extreme stress trauma.
Who and Why:
This course is designed for meditation teachers who are already certified (or very experienced meditation teachers by application only) or certified yoga teachers who
have already completed the Warriors at Ease Part 1 webinar training. It is appropriate for anyone who wishes to teach in populations who have experienced trauma,
combat-stress, and/or suffering from PTS or TBI. We welcome Insight Meditation, iRest® Yoga Nidra, MBSR, Transcendental Meditation, Vipassana and other
meditation traditions.
