The Basics with Mary: Knife Skills, Making Salsa and 2 Summertime Salads

The most important tools in the kitchen are your knives. Do you know how to use them properly? Come learn tips and tricks to make slicing, chopping and dicing a pleasure, not a chore. In this practical, hands on class Mary Weaver, owner of Newport Cooks, will go over proper knife skills and techniques as we work together to create a fresh salsa and 2 summertime salads. We’ll eat everything we make in class and taste wine when we eat.
