Sauces - Part 1: Bechamel, Tomato & Hollandaise Taught by Chef Deja Hart
Almost every great dish begins with a sauce! Learn the building blocks of classic sauce making as we master Bechamel Sauce, Tomato Sauce and Hollandaise Sauce. In this 2 part series we will cover all 5 of the classic mother sauces. (You can take each class individually or as a set) We’ll then prepare a recipe with each sauce to learn how they incorporate into your everyday cooking and to have at the ready in your culinary tool box. With these three sauces we’ll make Mac & Cheese from scratch using classic Béchamel, Fresh Squid/Calamari in Tomato Sauce and the ultimate pairing - Asparagus & Hollandaise.
