The Amazing Journey of Young-of-the-Year Herring from Pond to Ocean 

Meet FHR Board member, Barbara Brennessel, PhD at the Gull Pond Parking Lot to trace the beginning of the journey taken by young-of-the-year herring as they leave Gull Pond in Wellfleet and move down the Herring River.

This walk entails hiking the Herring River watershed, so participants should wear comfortable footwear and be prepared to walk on dirt roads for up to 3 miles. This event is free and open to the public. Limit 10 participants.
