- Group size can be adjusted adjusted up until the final payment date, however a commitment of a minimum of ten seats must be confirmed to hold seats
- You may add seats to your order after the final payment dependent upon availability
- Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card
- All ticket sales are final. Tickets will be mailed or held at will-call at the time of final payment

Ain't It Grand!

No maps required for this opening night featuring Ferde Grofe's magnificent, jazzy American masterpiece, Grand Canyon Suite. Flowering like a desert rose, this piece paints a musical picture of the sights, sounds and sentiments experienced by Grofe on his road trip to this grandest of canyons. Our path winds to a grand opera composer, the successful and popular, Giacomo Puccini, and his Preludio Sinfonico. Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini with its myriad, adventurous variations and featuring pianist, Ketevan Kartvelishvili, takes our evening to an epic conclusion!

Flavors of Spain & Italy

Like the twists and turns of a country road, this program treats us to the splendors of Spain and Italy. Felix Mendelssohn so loved his time in Italy it inspired his colorful Symphony No. 4, capturing the sights, sounds and variety of an Italian holiday: joyous and bathed in history. Similarly, Spanish composer Joaquin Rodrigo's evocative Concierto de Aranjuez, with its flamenco-like rhythm, composed for classical guitar and orchestra, captures the fragrance of magnolias, the singing of birds and the gushing of fountains in the Spanish palace garden. Rossini's Overture to The Barber of Seville adds a touch of whimsy and playfulness to this rich flavorful evening.

Our compass is pointing due north, with a guest from the North Pole and weekend full of holiday cheer! Our annual Holiday Pops weekend includes fun, family, community--and beloved seasonal music! Astounding tenor Matthew Anderson returns to sing holiday classics. The Plymouth Community Intermediate School 6th Grade Treble Chorus lends their angelic voices to our three festive holiday concerts, while our annual March of the Toys charity toy drive rounds out this holiday spectacular.

Bring the kids, family and friends to an afternoon of sheer musical delight! Our annual Family Concert packs a whole lot of fun in to one event! Meet our Phil Musicians and their instruments during a pre-concert instrument demonstration - the perfect way to test-drive many instruments! This hour-long Phil concert includes performances by the Plymouth Children's Chorus and the winner of the South Shore Conservatory's Youth Concerto Competition. Family-friendly ticket prices make this an affordable, fun way to experience the magic of live orchestral music.

Passions Unbound

Inspiration and passion take the wheel! Composer Erno Dohnanyi may have laid the bedrock for Hungarian music in the 20th century but American Rhapsody pays homage to his new home in the United States with its variations on familiar folk gospel themes--a celebratory piece! The joyride ensues with Tchaikovsky's exuberant Symphony No. 2 written during a summer holiday in Ukraine and infused with the composer's love of Russian folk songs. Guest soloist, Meehae Ryo, slides into the driver's seat during Saint-Saens' Cello Concerto No. 1, a full throttle piece written with dramatic, impassioned contrasts between cello and orchestra--seatbelts fastened!

Join us for an NYC-inspired preconcert cocktail party upstairs in the Blue Room at Memorial Hall.
