Program Description
The fast moving change environment we live in has presented many challenges to our population - from how we manage job and industry losses to how we educate our work force to survive in the changed environment and how we plan our business strategy to succeed in the new world we have created. This series will address four areas of technology emerging in Silicon Valley and related Silicon geographiesover a six month period: Big Data & Analytics, Cloud Computing & Security, Virtual & Augmented Reality and Robotics.
Each of these events will be addressing quality challenges in these technology areas and will consist of a Keynote speaker, an expert panel, and a social get together.

Keynote Speaker Dan Esbensen, a co-Founder of Touch Technologies and co-Founder of the California Health Medical Reserve Corps and LearOnMobile
Keynote Speaker: Dan Esbensen
As Director of IT Innovation at RDA and CTO if Touch Technologies, Inc., Dan brings extensive experience in software engineering and
architecture across multiple disciplines. He is an inventor specializing in scalable software solutions to solve complex problems. He excels at conceptualizing and delivering complex technology solutions on time and on budget, and takes a hands-on approach in all tiers of development. The FBI, CIA, and NSA utilize several technologies based on his patents for national and international security. Dan is also a co-founder of Touch Technologies and co-founder of the California Health Medical Reserve Corps and LearnOnMobile. Dan utilizes strong communication skills, to engage and unite technical and non-technical stakeholders around ideas, goals, and objectives. Dan’s recent work has focused on developing mobile device technologies to perform potentially lifesaving health interventions and facilitate English literacy education.
