Speaker Topic: ISO 9001:2015 Changes, Requirements and Implementation.
ISO technical committee 176 is working on the next revision of ISO 9001, whose draft has been released. With more than 1 million certified organization, there is tremendous anticipation to the upcoming changes to the ISO 9001 Standard.
The panel discussion representing , Organization, Consultant and the Registrar will touch upon all aspect of the changes, requirements and implementation.
Speaker Biography:
Govind Ramu: Mr. Govind Ramu is a director of quality assurance at SunPower Corp. in San Jose, CA. Ramu is a licensed professional mechanical engineer from Ontario, Canada. An ASQ fellow, Ramu is an ASQ-certified manager of quality/organizational excellence, quality engineer, Six Sigma Black Belt, auditor, software engineer and reliability engineer. He is co-author of The Certified Six Sigma Green Belt Handbook (ASQ Quality Press, 2008) and and a contributor to The Lean Handbook: A Guide to the Bronze Certification Body of Knowledge (ASQ Quality Press, 2012). Chuck Mignosa: Mr. Chuck Mignosa has over 30 years of diversified experience in high technology, aerospace, telecommunications, food processing and biomedical device industries. He is an RAB/QSA Certified Lead Auditor Trainer. As an independent consultant, he has consulted for and done training with such companies as IBM, SanDisk, Owens Corning, Heinz USA, Siemens Automotive, General Mills, Connors Peripherals, HP, and many more. He has been an adjunct instructor with the University of Notre Dame, Nova University and the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Mr. Mignosa is President and CEO of Business Systems Architects, L.L.C
Visha Stein: Ms Visha Stein is Vice President of Business Performance Associates, a quality and regulatory consulting company. She has over 20 years of experience in creating, implementing, improving, managing and auditing Quality Management Systems across a wide range of industries including electronics, plastics, medical device, combination drug and device products. Her years of experience as a lead auditor for UL-DQS Registrar and Notified Body have given her expert level knowledge of the application of quality system standards.
