2019 MCA/MPPOA Fall Conference Registration

Please join us for the 2019 MCA/MPPOA Fall Conference...Innovation and Collaboration in Corrections!

NOTE:  To receive the conference room rates, hotel reservations must be made by 9/04/19.  We will be back again this year at the beautiful Lodge of the Four Seasons.  Reserve rooms for just $104 a night in Seasons Bay and for $125 a night in the main building.  To make your room reservations at the Lodge call toll free number 888-265-5500.  To get these rates you must tell them it is for the MCA/MPPOA Fall Conference.  Cancellations can be made up to 7 days prior to the arrival date.  By the way...the rooms tend to fill up fast, so please make your reservations as early as possible to avoid having to stay off site at another hotel. 

There are many great activities planned for Wednesday!!  Select from the following:

• FATS training will run from 9:00 - 4:00 on Wednesday and Thursday.
• Crime Scene competition:  Sign up your team of 3 for a specific time slot between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. by contacting Scott Chenault at Chenault@ucmo.edu. 
• Intelligence Liaison Officer Training (no additional fee):  4 hour class on Wednesday (9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., lunch break, 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.)   Training put on by the Missouri Information Analysis Center. 
• Scavenger Hunt put on by Epoch Escapes

IMPORTANT NOTE TO BUSINESS MANAGERS AND THOSE MAKING REGISTRATIONS FOR OTHER ATTENDEES:  For the above listed activities, in order to get a headcount, please communicate with the people you are making arrangements for and indicate on the  online registration form which activities they plan to participate in.  There is not a limit on the number of Wednesday activities each attendee may participate in.   

Also planned for Wednesday:

• Back by popular demand...Exhibitor Reception with food, beverages and entertainment!  Begins at 2:00 p.m.  
• The conference registration table will be open on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and again on Thursday morning. 

The Missouri Credentialing Board has approved the conference for 12 contact hours (plus 4 contact hours for Intelligence Liaison Officer Training) and the schedule will be posted on MCA's website at https://mocorrectionsassociation.org/ .   You can also click here to see the draft schedule for Thursday and Friday. 

Exhibitors are currently getting registered and you will want to stop by all the awesome exhibitor booths to play Exhibitor BINGO and be eligible for prizes.  And if that isn't enough, we are also planning a Silent Auction, a Thursday evening boat ride, a student poster session, and LOTS of great door prizes!

Meals:  The following meals will be provided at the conference--Thursday:  breakfast and lunch, Friday:  brunch.
