    • Friday, Oct. 17, 5:30 PM, DoubleTree Hotel -- Network during the Freedom Fund Community Awards Reception & Gala featuring Activist, Humanitarian, Entrepreneur Lamell McMorris of the NAACP National Board of Directors and enjoy the jazzy, soulful sounds of recording artist Tony Exum, Jr. & Friends. Help us welcome Extra Special Guests, Miss Black USA Jasmin Mone and City of Aurora Mayor, the Honorable Steve Hogan. And, welcome Mistress of Ceremonies Ms. Rhonda A. Lee of WeatherNation TV Denver. Be present for the tribute to the Legislative Historic Five. And join in our uplifting Opening & Closing Ceremonies. NAACP Training provided by National Office Staff Dr. Jacqueline Patterson (Environmental Justice), Dr. Charles Lowery (Fair Lending & Inclusion) and Ms. Jahmaiah Lewis (Youth & College). Registration Fee:  $50 for Adult NAACP Members and $60 for Adult Non-Members; $30 for Youth&College  Members; $40 for Youth&College Non-Members. Includes continental breakfast, Lunch and all materials. Registration deadline:  Oct. 13, 2014.
