Raw Foods Basics 

If you have ever wondered what it would be like to eat raw foods, this is your chance.  Eating raw means never taking foods above 115 degrees-the point at which some valuable nutrition and vital enzymes are lost.  But eating raw is more than just salads!  Join Marisa Pelser for an informative and entertaining class to learn the basics of eating raw and taste some delicious foods!

Marisa is a Raw Foods Chef, Personal Trainer, and Nationally Qualified Figure Competitor. Along with her husband Pieter they are spreading the word of the importance of plant-based raw food nutrition as well as fitness throughout Northeast Ohio. She is a graduate of Cleveland State University with a B.S. in Exercise Science as well as Alissa Cohen Certified “Living on Live Foods” Chef and Instructor. Marisa also studied the Science of Raw Food Nutrition at the Living Light Culinary Institute in California.

Marisa is well versed on plant based foods and educates as she presents. She is passionate about raw culinary cuisine and the use of organic and local products. She is a dedicated teacher and trainer who uses the power food to make drastic health changes.
