2018 Fall Church Worker Conference

 

The annual Fall Church Worker Conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza-Columbus North.  The dates of the Conference are Monday, October 15th to Tuesday, October 16th.  The conference will begin on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 10:30 am with an opening worship service at St. John Lutheran Church, 6135 Rings Rd., Dublin, Ohio 43016.

Congregations are encouraged to provide the funds for both Pastor and wife to attend. Vicars, Deaconesses, Licensed Deacons, and Emeriti Pastors are also invited and would appreciate it if their congregation would underwrite the expense of the Conference.

This is a REQUIRED Conference for all active Church Workers of The Ohio District (excluding teachers, DCEs and DFLMs). If circumstances prevent you from attending, be sure to respond to the email invitation with the reason you are not able to attend. You may also send your excuse to President Wilson's assistant, Cheryl Ohradzansky, via email at ohradzanskyc@oh.lcms.org.

Please refer to the Conference agenda for additional details. There will be separate sessions for the wives held at the same time as the main speaker, Dr. Bartelt. 

 Please note: This registration and the associated fee is for the Conference and meals only. You will also need to contact Crowne Plaza for sleeping room reservations. To make reservations, contact the Crowne Plaza at 614-885-1885 prior to September 14, 2018. Please ask for group code PCC when making reservations to get the discounted group rate. 

Circuit Visitors and Vice-Presidents: Your meetings begin on Sunday, October 14th. Please remember to book your lodging at the Crowne Plaza accordingly.
