"I see our ‘bodies’ formed by the liquid of our first cradle. Our early watery environment shapes and gives us its secret. This is our first home, our ‘primordial field.’ The fluid in our cells is our birthplace, our memory of the creative matrix in which all life is summoned."
- Emilie Conrad
Our early formation in the womb is a miracle, guided by a mysterious bio-intelligence. The potential of that tiny first cell to develop into these complex bodies is clearly the expression of something beyond our everyday abilities or knowlege.
Continuum is a profound practice, which easily takes us back into contact with that original primordial potential. Using the gentle breaths, sounding, movement and mindful awareness of Continuum, we melt our tissues and our tendencies, habits and patterns. As we return to our natural fluidity, we find ourselves feeling nourished and replenished, connected to a deeper knowing. We emerge with a stronger sense of wholeness, health, creativity and resilience, more ready and able to meet the challenges of everyday life in the 21st century.
If you missed this special Continuum webinar class, you can still benefit by watching the video recording. Using this powerful somatic practice developed by somatic pioneer and visionary, Emilie Conrad, we slow down, deepen and access the potential we grew with in the womb.
Your guide for this fluid journey is Cherionna Menzam-Sills. Cherionna was authorized by Emilie Conrad as a Continuum Movement teacher in 2007 and has taught Continuum around the world, as well as incorporating it into classes and trainings in Craniosacral Biodynamics and in Prenatal and Birth Psychology/Therapy. She is author of the forthcoming book, The Breath of Life: An Introduction to Craniosacral Biodynamics (North Atlantic, April 2018) and is currently writing a second book, Fluid and Cosmos: Accessing Our Original Embryological Potential. She has taught Embryology through movement for about 20 years, since studying Embryology as part of her PhD in Pre- and Perinatal Psychology.
Cherionna is dedicated to somatic presence. This class evolves out of years of personal and professional exploration. Originally from Canada, she now lives in Devon, England, where she maintains a private practice, emphasizing mentoring and supervision. She also teaches frequently with her husband, Franklyn Sills, Biodynamics pioneer.
