The Mancos Valley Balloon & Street Fair 

The 11th Annual Mancos Valley Balloon Festival / Artfest & Street Fair looks forward to your participation in this year's event!  The Artfest and Street Fair will take place along Grand Avenue between Main Street & Mesa.

Check in and Set Up will be from 7am - 9am on Saturday morning (9/26). Please Check in at the Visitor Center at 101 Bauer Ave., Mancos, CO  to obtain your site location, Vendor Pass and paperwork.  

Parking for vendors will be in a designated parking area.  Vendors may unload on Grand Avenue, set up the booth and drive your vehicle to the parking area.  You will receive a parking permit to place on your dashboard.  There is no vendor parking on Grand Ave per CDOT rules.

The event will run from 10 AM Saturday, September 26 through 4 PM Sunday September 27. Do not break down before the close of the event, if you must leave early, please notify an event coordinator. Failure to inform the event of your departure will disqualify you from future events.

All Vendors are responsible for providing their own set-up (chairs, tables, tents, etc).Wind gusts may be a problem and it is highly recommend to have tent weights attached. Signs, Tents and Furnishings used by vendors must be secured in such a way to avoid being blown away or possibly causing physical injury or property damage.

All Food Vedors must be approved by Montezuma County Health Department prior to consideration of their application.

All vendors using liquefied gas products for their activities shall be required to have a First Aid Kit and at least one 5-lb ABC fire extinguisher or two 21/2-lb fire extinguiser at their booth.

The sale of articles considered potentially harmful or dangerous to the health, safety, or comfort of participants is strictly prohibited.  Vendors attempting to sell any of these items will be closed without refund of fees.

Securiety will be provided and limited and all vendors should take valuable items down with them during the night. The Artfest and Street fair will not be responsible for theft of items. Vendors are required to keep booth area free of trash, paper and refuse at all times.

Since this is an outdoor event, electricity is very limited and there will be an added $10.00 Fee for use.  Please contact Marie Chiarizia at 970-533-7434 if you require a spot with Electricity to ensure we still have a location available.

All Vendors must have a town sales permit.  This is a one time only Fee of $10.00 and if you are a returning vendor and paid the fee for another event in Mancos,  there is no need to pay again.  If you need a Form go to click here

You will also need a special event Sales Tax license from Colorado for which there is a $4.00 Fee. To Obtain this license go to: https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/sites/default/files/DR0589.pdf

Sales Tax is .04% for the Town of Mancos and you will be provided an envelope to report your Special Town of Mancos Sales Tax Return to be provided to the Event Coordinator at the end of your event.
