Sharan Salian, Indian Community Fund of Greater Memphis.
Over the past two decades, Sharan has supported many local non-profit organizations - giving financially and more importantly with his time. For the past 3 years as the board chair for the Indian Community Fund for Greater Memphis (ICFGM aka Indians for a Better Memphis), with a passionate and energized all-volunteer executive board, he has been leading the community efforts for more grassroots engagement while building towards a stronger organization.Under his leadership, ICFGM has supported many local organizations with diverse goals - NCRM, CMOM, Caritas Village, MidSouth Food Bank, Memphis Botanical Gardens, MIFA, Shelby Farms, MidSouth Literacy, etc. As ICFGM looks to the future, the strategic goals are intertwined with the community emphasis on education, children, and livable communities.
