2017 Black Family Day: BBQ-style 

Please join us as we celebrate our annual Black Family Day: BBQ Style.

This casually elegant BBQ will be held at Putnam County Golf Course in Mahopac, NY.

Activities include:

DJ, Magician (magic for all ages), Golfing (includes cart), Recognition for all children and their participation in MHVC Jack and Jill, Recognition of children moving up, Recognition of distinguished Mother and Teen and Recognition of Fathers.

Golf (for additional fee): Tee times must be reserved per person. 

Black Family Day began in May of 1987 when the Honorable William Gray III, Congressman from Pennsylvania, entered a tribute to Jack and Jill of America into the Congressional Record as the organization embarked upon a Black Family Day of Celebration.  The focus is on family and the cultural heritage of families for African-Americans.
