Philip Bowring, a British journalist based in Hong Kong since 1973. He is a two-time president of the Hong Kong Foreign Correspondents Club, former editor of the Far Eastern Economic Review, and has been a correspondent for the Financial Times and Asian Wall Street Journal and columnist for the International Herald Tribune. His latest book is Empire of the Winds: The Global Role of Asia’s Great Archipelago. Books will be available for sale.
Anna Yeung-Cheung, a Manhattanville College professor and Hong Kong native, a member of Global Solidarity, a group that helps activists organize rallies, chat groups, and other events in dozens of cities in more than ten countries in support of the Hong Kong pro-democracy movement. She is the founder and convenor of NY4HK (New Yorkers for Hong Kong).
Moderating will be Pete Engardio, who was based in Hong Kong for Business Week magazine and who currently serves on the OPC board of governors.
