Protect Your Intellectual Property and Attend NAMM IP Academy
at USPTO Headquarters
April 8 and 9, 2015

NAMM Members have the opportunity to participate in a free two-day, Intellectual Property (IP) Academy on April 8 and 9, 2015, at the Global Intellectual Property Academy (GIPA) of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in Alexandria, Virginia.

In its third year, the program is designed to help attendees understand strategies and to protect and manage IP, including patents, trade secrets, trademarks, and copyrights, domestically and abroad.

The Global Intellectual Property Academy invites NAMM Members to send in IP-related questions and concerns for IP Academy attorneys to use to develop additional materials to assist NAMM Members in protecting their intellectual property.

The Global Intellectual Property AcademyActing Director Susan Anthony will spearhead IP Academy sessions.  With more than 30 years’ experience in almost all facets of intellectual property protection and enforcement, in the U.S. and abroad, Anthony leads the USPTO initiative with NAMM.

Speakers will include intellectual property experts from the Office of Policy and International Affairs (OPIA), U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, as well as guest speakers from the private sector.
