Southwest Farm Fresh Cooperative, Rocky Mountain Farmers Union, Colorado Tourism Office and Guidestone Colorado are offering these opportunities to aspiring farmers and ranchers or current producers who are exploring the possibility of starting or expanding an agricultural business.

VISION COURSE FOR ASPIRING FARMERS AND RANCHERS
Friday, February 24

The Vision Course for Aspiring Farmers and Ranchers is designed for those who are exploring the possibility of starting or expanding an agricultural business. Participants undergo an in-depth exploration of their own vision and the core competencies and resources needed to launch! This course examines current trends, resources, case studies, and stories from experienced farmers while digging into a framework to begin strategic business planning.

SCALING UP WORKSHOP FOR SOUTHWEST FARMERS
Saturday, February 25
9am-4pm 

Rocky Mountain Farmers Union, in partnerships with Southwest Farm Fresh Cooperative, Colorado Tourism Office and Guidestone, is offering a Scaling-Up Workshop for fruit, vegetable, and field crop producers who are selling or considering selling to wholesale accounts such as food hubs, grocery chains and institutions.  Topics will include an orientation to new federal food safety standrads, elements of successful wholesale market entry, selling opportunities and an expert producer panel.
