Have you ever wanted to be a cowboy or a cowgirl, working and living on a ranch? Well here’s your chance to see what life on a working cattle ranch is all about! We will meet the animals and people who work at the Hutchinson Ranch, and become savvy ranch hands as we assist with daily animal chores and help Rancher Abby take care of the pastures, ditches and animals that call the ranch their home. We’ll also learn more about the ranch as a natural area with a guest instructor from GARNA*. As we practice important ranch skills such as branding, roping and irrigating, we’ll keep an eye out for any mysterious visitors that will make this experience a special treat. At the end of camp, we’ll celebrate with a square dance for campers and their families. By the end of camp, you won’t be a Greenhorn anymore!
