VAA Zoom Session (Applications and Efficiencies for the Modern Day Online Auctioneer) - Erik Rasmus 

The Virginia Auctioneers Association will host a ZOOM session with Erik Rasmus on Tuesday, August 18 at 1:00pm eastern.

In this session we will talk about some apps that online auctioneers are using to amp up their productivity, workflow, and their brand.  These along with streamlining your business processes, can transform your company and increase your marketplace, creating a lasting community between you and your buyers and sellers.

What you should be familiar with before attending this session:

1. The session will focus on those already conducting online auctions.
2. Communication through test; this session will talk a lot about communication via text and using your mobile device on the go.
3. Basic cross platform skills and computer knowledge, using your computer, iPad, iPhone, computer, Android, etc.
4. We are in the age of the consumer!  If you do not have the desire to strengthen your relationship between you and your community than this session is not for you.

 

We will discuss topics such as:

1. How to effectively engage your buyers and sellers.
2. How to create a community between your engaged buyers and sellers.
3. What applications auctioneers are using to create these communities and engagements.
4. How to keep up with the current trends of the profession.
5. How to know what is “happening” around your community.
