Class will start at 9:00 AM EDT each day and we will try to end at approximately 4:00 PM EDT each day, but this will vary daily. Please be prepared to be in training until 5:00 PM EDT each day.

You will need a copy of your current license to review with our instructors as well as a calculator with a square root function. You will also need a survey meter for the training, as well as a computer/laptop with a camera. We will do hands-on exercises as part of the class, and for certification, these are required.Virtual Radiation Safety Officer Review Training, April 18-19, 2023
Designed for active RSOs who have previously taken a 40-hour class to keep up on the constant changes in Radiation Protection Standards. Based on NUREG 1556, this fast paced class gives an in depth review of the principles of radiation safety including dose limits, required ALARA programs, record keeping, compliance, and training plant personnel. We recommend attending a review every two to three years.
