2019-2020 IPCP Leadership Development Program (BSET) - Cohort 4

Leadership Development Program (LDP) includes the similar BSET content topics via class and web-based sessions to reduce the out-of-clinic time burden.  The intent is to not only recruit providers from BSET teams, but also support smaller, more rural clinics that would be able to send a full-team to BSET.  Program participants may be either 1) providers from medicine, dentistry, and behavioral health that are have a BSET Team participating in the 2019-2020 cohort; or 2) leadership executive, operations or providers from small clinics unable to support a full team at BSET that are interested in improving team effectiveness.

The BSET Leadership Development Program will include:

  • A series of baseline individual and team assessments (Same tools as for BSET)
  • An initial 3 day face-to-face bootcamp training event
  • A series of three web-based interactive learning sessions
  • Team integration capstone project focused on improving quality within the clinic.  For leaders representing a BSET Team, the capstone will be done with BSET participants.  For leaders without a BSET team, they will do an individualized capstone project.
  • Individual and/or Team coaching to support team growth
A closing celebration event to report capstone findings/results

What will I need to do to prepare for the LDP?

Prior to the start of the workshop, participants will be sent an email with some items to complete prior to the first day of workshop.  Please check your email that will include updates and training location information.

Leadership Development Program Registration and Financial Policies

The administration fee for the 2019-2020 LDP workshops will be $150 (includes all four workshops). Registration is not considered complete until payment is received.  The due date for payment is March 28, 2019 one week before the workshop.  If payment has not been received by this date, the registration will be released.  If payment is received in the last week AND there is space available the participant may join the class.  If payment has not been received by the day of class, the participant will not be allowed to attend, even if space is available.

Cancellation Policy: If a participant cancels 30 or more days prior, they will receive a 95% refund, less a 5% administration fee. If they cancel 15-29 days prior, they will receive a 90% refund, less a 10% administration fee. If a participant cancels 14 days or less prior, all fees are completely non-refundable.

Attendance

Participants must be present for all hours of the LDP.  For a "no-show" or if a participant misses more than 2 hours, they will not be allowed to continue in the BSET.  There will be no partial make-up arrangements made and no refund of tuition funds will occur.
