SNOOP! at League Park 

League Park: You don't necessarily have to be a huge baseball fan to appreciate the importance of the site where Babe Ruth snagged his 500th home run, Joe DiMaggio got his 56th consecutive hit, and greats like Cy Young and Satchel Paige once played. League Park, built in Cleveland's Hough neighborhood in 1891, was home to the World Champion 1920 Cleveland Indians as well as the 1945 Negro League Champion Cleveland Buckeyes and the NFL's Cleveland Rams. Once the teams either left this neighborhood field for larger homes or disbanded, League Park fell into major deterioration. Thanks for many community partners with a vision for the future, League Park has been reborn as a historic site and a community asset. Come SNOOP! behind the scenes of this nostalgic ballpark on Saturday, September 12, led by August Fluker of City Architecture, Inc. and baseball historian and author Morris Eckhouse, administrator of the Baseball Heritage Museum.
