OSHA 30-Hour Construction 

Overview
This 4-Day course provide workers with a basic understanding of some of the most hazardous construction activities.  The emphasis is on hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention, rather than on OSHA standards only.  Employers and insurance companies are often requiring that contractors coming onto their work sites have OSHA 30-Hour training.

Learning Objectives
Participants who successfully complete the course will:

• Be able to recognize, evaluate, and eliminate conditions that can lead to job site safety hazards
• Be familiar with OSHA, including provisions of the OSHA Act, the general duty clause, responsibility of the competent person, and how to file a complaint
• Understand worker rights protected under OSHA
