PennAEYC 2015 VOICE for Children Award Dinner 

The VOICE for Children Award celebration will feature dinner and a presentation of the 2015 VOICE for Children Award. The VOICE Award is the only statewide award in Pennsylvania recognizing the grassroots leaders whose work impacts the quality of care for young children in diverse settings.  Now in its fifth year, the VOICE Award celebrates not only individual award recipients, but the early childhood profession.

This year’s VOICE for Children Award winner is Donna Shriver, the founder and president of SmartKids Child Care and Learning Centers in Washington County. She is well known in her region for her love of children and involvement in initiatives that work to ensure that all children experience high quality care and education. 

PennAEYC's Distinguished Career Award will be presented Mary Graham, executive director of Children's Villiage in Philadelphia. She has been in the field for 30 years and works tirelessly to help better the lives of children in her community.

This year, we are extremely pleased to honor two gentleman with PennAEYC's VOICE for Children Visionary Award. Ron DiNicola, Erie-based attorney, and Nick Scott, Jr., Erie business leader will recieve these special awards acknowledging the impressive work they have done on behalf of children in the Pre-K for PA Campaign.
